The Charpy Impact Tester model Q-Impact CIT-5 is your trusted economical tool for conducting impact & resilience tests on rigid plastic materials. It is designed to determine the impact fragility characteristics of materials under standardized stress conditions. Our testing method aligns perfectly with ISO 179 – Part 1 (Non-Instrumented Impact Test).
The sample, positioned horizontally and supported near its ends, becomes ready for testing. A single, high-velocity impact from the striker, with the impact point right in the middle of the supports, initiates the test. This results in a significant bending and breaking effect, capturing valuable data for analysis.
