High gloss, semi-gloss, matte – which geometry is best? The answer is simple: micro-TRI-gloss.

micro-TRI-gloss detects gloss variations under the correct angle. International standards specify three geometries for measuring surfaces ranging from matte to high gloss. With micro-TRI-gloss, you always have the appropriate angle available and can quickly identify quality differences:

• 20° geometry for high-gloss surfaces
• 60° geometry for semi-gloss surfaces
• 85° geometry for low-gloss surfaces

The micro-TRI-gloss µ measures both parameters at the same location and in just one second. This not only saves time but is also ideal for on-site inspections – you only need to carry one instrument.

It simultaneously displays results at 20°, 60°, and 85° angles, covering high-gloss to matte coatings. Additionally, it features a dual film thickness sensor for measuring thickness on both steel and aluminum.
