The QTens-I benchtop Universal Testing Machine is a popular single-column tensile tester designed to meet and exceed the requirements of ASTM and other standards for flexible packaging, plastic film and paper tensile testing. This budget-friendly and yet high performance testing machine utilizes high-precision load cells, ensuring accurate force measurement, stable loading, and extended service life.

Its LCD screen and controller is equipped with professional software, allowing real-time display of test curve data and access to test reports. This makes it convenient and fast for laboratory use. Test Principle:

To perform a test, secure the sample between the two sample grips, then start the instrument and allow the fixtures to move closer to each other. During the test, the force load cell situated on the movable cross head collects changes in force values, while the machine’s built-in displacement sensor gathers displacement changes. These data are then used to calculate the sample’s tensile strength, peeling, heat sealing, tearing, and other performance indicators.
